WEEK 1 HOMEWORK-DIRECTIONAL SIGNS WITH NO ARROWS

Homework- find 5 directional signs that don't include an arrow. This exercise was fairly hard as most signs use arrows as arrows are more effective in displaying direction. Below are photographies and images in which I found.

WEEK 1 INCLASS EXERCISE- TANGRAM

Our in class exercise for week 1 consisted of constructing 6 different images (animal, action figure, plant, face,vehicle, appliance) using the 7 shapes from a tangram. Below is an example of a tangram before the shapes are all cut out.

WEEK 1- REFLECTION

First class for Symbols and Distribution was interesting and I felt I learnt a lot through the different activities and exercises undertaken in class. The activities involved seeing ourselves as individuals and using different shapes to portray images. We also got given the Assessment brief and what is required within this we chose groups for our Assessment.
